Biography Mayyat 'Mystical Black Metal'

MAYYAT was established on December 21, 1997 by Arix, Udayana University, Eka and Dika, exactly at 12.00 prophecy in a haunted place that is very sacred, located in Orchard Negari, Sading Village, Badung - Bali.

Based on their desire to evoke the dark, they agreed to carry the Mystical Black Metal as a basic concept MAYYAT music.

After attending several Underground Event, held in Bali, in early 2000 they agreed to invite Rai for filling the position of the keyboard. Sehinggal complete their sacred formation to date:

Udayana University - Mystical Guitars

Eka - Darkest Bass

Rai - Mystery Keybords

Dika - Hammer of Ungods

MAYYAT much influenced by Cradle Of Filth and EMPEROR, but to seek their own characteristics include ethnic Balinese unsus very thick. In his songs MAYYAT much about the dark side of the supernatural world that Bali is full of mystical-mythical very sacred. Every staging them, always preceded by ritual to apply for permission and guidelines from the ruler of faerie.

On August 6, 2000 MAYYAT try to record their songs live at Underdog Studio, but because the results are less satisfactory, they do not distribute the demo.
